ACTIVITIES

Dianie & Alfred are the heart and soul of Baja Mar: They will make every effort to ensure that your vacation is everything you dreamed it would be. They are happy to act as concierges, providing advice, organising tours, fishing guides and dive trips, golf cart hire or any local transport. Dianie is an excellent cook and loves making meals for our guests that are very reasonably priced. Dianie also provides two cleaning and linen and towel changes during the course of a guest week stay. Alfred makes sure that everything at the house is working well. Alfred & Dianie are assisted by Christian who cleans the beach and keeps the garden clean and colourful.

Tony owns the place and looks after the bookings.

The house lies directly on the beach and overlooks turquoise waters of the Caribbean towards the reef. Accordingly, the immediate activities are marine related: kayaking, snorkeling, fishing, diving etc. A bicycle tour or simple walk along the beach can also be very pleasant with lots of fish and other marine life clearly visible even from the shore. The tropical birdlife, sometimes fabulously and vividly colored, can be wonderful to watch –pelicans plunging into the sea to catch fish, ospreys sawing above, frigate birds – fish catchers of all descriptions.

 

Alfred will be more than happy to arrange tours for you when you are at BajaMar. Usually they are best organized when you reach the house. (Don’t miss Hol Chan Marine Reserve and Shark Ray Ally)
